TVS Motor Company sales at 168,693 units in June 2012

Hosur, 02 July 2012:

TVS Motor Company registered total sales of 168,693 units in June 2012 against 182,456 units registered in June 2011. The company's cumulative sales for the period April 2012 to June 2012 stood at 519,160 units against 536,130 units recorded in the previous comparable period.

Two Wheeler

Total two wheeler sales registered sales of 165,438 units in June 2012 in comparison with 178,633 units recorded in June 2011. Domestic sales of the company recorded sales of 147,893 units in June 2012 against 155,296 units registered in June 2011.

Motorcycles sales accounted for 61,274 units in June 2012 against 69,859 units in June 2011. The company's scooter sales stood at 38,166 units in June 2012 against 44,281 units in the same month of the previous year.

Exports

Exports registered total sales of 19,750 units in June 2012 against 26,359 units in the same month of the previous year. The company's two wheeler exports stood at 17,545 units in June 2012 in comparison with 23,337 units in June 2011.

Three Wheeler

The company sold 3,255 units of three wheelers in June 2012 against 3,823 units in the same month of the previous year.
